1. BardessonoYountville, California

For the ultimate Napa Valley getaway, it’s hard to beat Bardessono. With just 62 rooms and suites, Bardessono provides an intimate retreat in the heart of wine country. From exquisite gastronomic delights at Lucy Restaurant & Bar, showcasing the freshest local produce (some of which is grown on-site at Lucy’s Garden), to indulgent spa treatments harnessing the very best of natural ingredients, Bardessono knows how to pamper its guests. Be sure to book one of the Steam Spa-Suites; you’ll enjoy an outdoor shower as well as an indoor dual-shower steam room in a bathroom that can double as a private spa. 2. Inn at the MarketSeattle, Washington

The Inn at the Market has the distinct privilege of being the only hotel situated in Seattle’s iconic Pike Place Market. A perennial favorite of Conde Nast Traveler’s coveted Gold List, this boutique hotel in downtown Seattle captures the essence of Pacific Northwest charm. Floor-to-ceiling windows in every room allow for plenty of natural light and fresh air, while the Deluxe Water View rooms offer prime viewing of the Puget Sound and the ferries that traverse its waters daily.  Forget the crowds and spend some quiet time with your sweetie partaking in the bounty you’re sure to find in the Market: grab a pint of fresh strawberries, a bottle of Washington state wine and some organic chocolates and indulge in the privacy of your own room.

3. The Mansion on Peachtree, a Rosewood Hotel – Atlanta, Georgia

There’s plenty of southern charm at The Mansion on Peachtree, but lest you conjure up images of dainty rose-laden bone china and frilly lace bedspreads, think again: sleek marble, polished chrome accents, and modern furnishings up the style ante here. The hotel is a little oasis in Buckhead, one of Atlanta’s most upscale neighborhoods. You’ll definitely want to splurge on the Double Balcony Suite, where you can enjoy the hotel’s picturesque English gardens from not one – but two balconies. And if standing on one of the balconies were to inspire you to recite some lines from Romeo and Juliet – we’ll gladly look past the cliche, because we can’t think of a more appropriate setting.

4. Taj Boston – Boston, Massachusetts

Picture this:  the lights are dim, the champagne flutes glisten, and the fireplace crackles as you and your honey snuggle up together, whispering sweet nothings in each other’s ears. Did we mention that the fireplace would be lit by your very own “Fireplace Butler?” You read that right. Here at the Taj Boston, a landmark hotel in Boston, a butler comes to your room to personalize the fire to your liking – whether that’s a burn of cherry, maple, oak or birch wood. Now if that isn’t a recipe for romance (and pampering), we don’t know what is. To top off your romantic getaway, be sure to indulge in the hotel’s signature champagne brunch; offered on the hotel’s rooftop deck (appropriately named “The Roof”), offering exquisite views of the Public Garden, the decadent spread shouldn’t be missed.

5. The SetaiMiami, Florida

We can’t think of a place as sizzlingly sexy as South Beach – can you? Well, if you had any doubts, The Setai should put those doubts to rest. From its sleek, Asian-inspired decor, to the three pools that beg for scantily clad company, this hotel exudes sexiness. It’s where you want to be when you want to mingle with the beautiful people…with your beautiful significant other, of course. And there’s truly no better way to impress than with a stay in the Grande Suite Two Bedroom Spa and Media. Featuring a cedar sauna, full kitchen, tricked out entertainment room and ocean views, you’d have to come up with a really good reason to leave the suite at all.

6. Cosmopolitan Las Vegas- Las Vegas, Nevada

There’s so much more to Vegas than slot machines and all-you-can-eat buffets – especially if you’re staying at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. Take, for instance, the property’s exotic Sahra Spa and Hammam. Here, various treatments and bath rituals will make your stress melt away, while private spa suites afford the ultimate in secluded pampering. For accommodations, look to the Terrace One Bedroom Fountain View. There, you’ll find romance awaiting as you pop open the bubbly on the oversized terrace, overlooking the magical Bellagio fountains. You know the adage – what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas…problem is, you may just want to stay forever at the Cosmopolitan.

7. Montelucia Resort & SpaScottsdale, Arizona

Montelucia, meaning “mountain of light” in Spanish, takes ample inspiration from the Andalusia region to create a serene getaway full of Old World charm; a stay here is sure to make you and your companion feel as though you’re somewhere else entirely. Treat your desert rose to luxury in the Camelback Villa, which offers plenty of space in addition to privacy galore. From the patio, soak in views of the majestic Camelback Mountain. Indoors, you’ll discover 2 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a gym and an oversized dining area, so there’s plenty of room to play a little romantic hide-and-seek.
